Great post, thanks Andy. I remember this was the vision for NFTs that Axie Infinitey and others talked about in 2018. What seemed to happen was that creator economy buzz and social signaling (ie Bored Apes on twitter profiles) drove the first wave of NFT adoption. Cool to see the games as way to financial services vision also have its comeuppance.
